Online Stores for Fashion & Jewellery Brands
Eight stores: personalised jewellery, couture, streetwear, accessories and footwear, on both Shopify and WooCommerce. Most of them sell into Pakistan, which means cash on delivery, Instagram-led discovery and mid-range Android phones are the conditions the store has to work in — not edge cases to handle later.
Building for fashion, jewellery & accessories
Photography is the product page
On white, worn, a detail shot showing the finish, and something for scale. The commonest reason a fashion or jewellery item comes back is that it was not what the buyer pictured, and that is a photography problem before it is a returns problem.
Cash on delivery treated as the risk it is
COD is the majority of orders for a lot of stores in this market and its refusal rate quietly eats the margin. Order confirmation before dispatch, a partial advance on higher-value items, delivery charges shown before checkout, and refusal rates tracked by city so the pattern is visible.
Local payment rails, not just cards
Bank transfer with clear instructions and the wallets your customers already use. Every method you do not offer is a share of buyers who do not complete, and which gateways a small store can actually get approved for changes often enough that it is worth checking rather than assuming.
Sizing and materials answered on the page
Ring sizing you can measure at home, what the metal actually is, whether it tarnishes, how a garment fits. These are the questions that stop a purchase, and answering them does more for conversion than a discount code.
Product pages built as landing pages
Discovery happens on Instagram and TikTok; the product page is where the sale closes, and it is usually the first page of yours anyone sees. It has to stand alone, load fast on mobile data, and make the next step obvious.
Shopify or WooCommerce, chosen on the facts
Shopify for most brands that want to sell and not administer a platform; WooCommerce where you need unusual logic or already live in WordPress. We have built plenty of both and have no stake in which you pick.

What we do for clients here
Written on this in more detail: building a jewellery store in Pakistan and Shopify vs WooCommerce. You can also see what clients said, or how we work with businesses in this market.
We do not publish a rate card, because the number depends on the scope. What you get instead is a written scope and a fixed figure before anything starts, and it does not move unless you change the brief.
What fashion, jewellery & accessories clients ask us
Shopify if you want to run a shop rather than maintain software, and it is what we suggest for most brands starting out. WooCommerce if you need custom logic, already run WordPress, or want to avoid a monthly platform fee. The honest trade-off is cost and control versus time spent on upkeep.
Yes. Products, customers and order history move across, and the old URLs get redirected so the rankings and anyone's bookmarks survive. The redirect map is the part that gets skipped in bad migrations and it is the part that costs traffic.
Not usually — we will tell you what the shots need to be and most brands get better results shooting their own with a light tent than paying us to arrange it. If the photography is the blocker we will say so plainly, because launching without it wastes the build.
Yes, including the confirmation step before dispatch that removes a large share of refusals. We will also set up the reporting so you can see refusal rates by city, because that number should inform whether you keep offering COD everywhere.
A few weeks for a straightforward catalogue. In practice the schedule is usually decided by how quickly product data and photography come back from you, not by the build.
